Lakers News: Team Agrees to Deal With Jodie Meeks

After trading for Dwight Howard on Friday morning the Lakers brought in another player Friday afternoon when the reportedly agreed to terms with Jodie Meeks.

According to Mark Medina of the L.A. Times, L.A. and Meeks agreed to a 2-year deal.

This answers the question – who will be Kobe Bryant’s backup next season? Meeks was being discussed along with Leandro Barbosa.

Meeks averaged 8.4 points and 2.4 rebounds last season in Philadelphia.
