Lakers Draft News: Josh Jackson’s Agent Says ‘too Early’ To Tell If L.a. Will Select His Client
Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA Draft is quickly approaching and rumors are flying about exactly what the Los Angeles Lakers will do with the second overall pick. Lonzo Ball may still be the favorite, but Josh Jackson and De’Aaron Fox could both make a strong case to be picked.

On this edition of the LN Podcast, host Trevor Lane is joined by guests Derek Bodner and Gerald Borguet, who cover the Philadelphia 76ers and Phoenix Suns, respectively. Together, they mock the second, third, and fourth picks of the draft, which is where there is a lot of uncertainty about who gets selected.

Each pick has a domino effect on the others, making this a fun exercise to help prepare for the upcoming draft. We also dig into whether or not the Sacramento Kings will use their two picks to move up and which teams would take the deal.

Plus, we dive into how Sixers and Suns fans reacted to the Lakers keeping their pick (Suns fans aren’t handling it well). We also discuss what the likely Jahlil Okafor trade may look like and why Lonzo Ball isn’t as bad of a defender as most think. All that and much more on the LN Podast:

1:30- Are PHI fans upset about not getting LAL’s ’17 pick?

4:15- Disappointed Suns fans

7:00- What happens to the draft if LAL select Ball?

14:30- Could SAC trade 5 & 10 to move up?

17:45- What happens if LAL take Jackson?
