Lakers Practice VIDEOS: Kobe Dunks, Steve Nash Still Far Behind

The Los Angeles Lakers started their first of three practices Tuesday before they head to Sacramento to play the Kings on Friday. After the news broke yesterday that Lakers point guard Jordan Farmar will be out approximately four weeks with a hamstring tear, the Lakers were hoping for promising news regarding Steve Nash’s recovery. Nash did participate in practice today, but was pulled after approximately 10 minutes. There were no specific limitations; the Lakers simply felt it was best for Nash to ease into practice on a day-to-day basis.

After practice, Nash discusses his slow recovery and chances of playing Friday. Lakers head coach Mike D’Antoni responds to a question about whether the Lakers are searching for another point guard. And, Kobe Bryant pickpockets Xavier Henry and goes up for a breakaway dunk. Check out our Lakers practice videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel!
