Lakers Rumors: Kobe Bryant Back On Twitter?

Remember the good ol’ days when Kobe Bryant was on Twitter? Actually, it was just last week but play along with me.

It turns out that there is an account to @kobebryant (there are no tweets so far). On his website, kb24.com, there was a link besides the link to his Facebook account. It was the Twitter bird and it led to @kobebryant. As of the wee hours, he had accumulated over 2,000 followers. However, the Twitter bird is no longer beside the Facebook link.

Last week, Kobe took over the Nike Basketball Twitter account. Here are a couple of samples from that.

During that stay, Kobe hinted about joining Twitter.

And then a few days later, he hinted that he wasn’t quite ready. Kobe mentioned that he may not have enough time to “really give the fans the attention they deserve.”

Well, Kobe is teasing his fans once again with that @kobebryant account. Is he finally going to give in and start tweeting?

First things first, though, the Lakers have to face the Clippers on Friday night. I’m sure Twitter is the last thing on Kobe’s mind at this moment.
