Lakers Trade Derek Fisher to Rockets for Jordan Hill

The Los Angeles Lakers have sent veteran and five-time champion Derek Fisher to the Houston Rockets for Jordan Hill. The Lakers will also give the Rockets a first round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft.

This is coming off news that the Lakers acquired Ramon Sessions from the Cleveland Cavaliers, someone who is much younger than Fisher.

Although Fisher won five titles with the Lakers and came to the franchise in the same year Kobe Bryant came, it seems as though the parties have parted ways.
