Lakers Video: Jordan Clarkson Excited To Receive Big Baller Brand Slides From Lonzo Ball

Lonzo Ball and his family’s Big Baller Brand merchandise have been a hot topic of debate on social media, with some considering the apparel overpriced while others have appreciated the way Lonzo and LaVar Ball have used their platform to create a family business.

They’ve done so by utilizing Lonzo’s social media clout and by pulling naked (and hilarious) publicity stunts such sending President Donald Trump a pair of red, white and blue ZO2s after LaVar feuded with Trump earlier in the year.

The Balls are now trying that strategy (or just giving nice gifts) to at least one of Lonzo’s teammates. As Jordan Clarkson excitedly shared on his Instagram account, with plenty of exuberance, he was the recipient of the new Big Baller Brand slides, via Sports Illustrated:

Lonzo appreciated Clarkson’s support while offering fans a way to join him in being a Big Baller on Twitter:

Fittingly for a company called Big Baller Brand, that is no small gift. Those slides retail for $220, so whether this was a nice gift from Lonzo, an ad disguised as a present or a little bit of rookie hazing in which Lonzo just had to give Clarkson some expensivle slides, this is a solid pickup for the Lakers’ reserve guard.

There have been tons of rumors over whether or not Clarkson will remain a Laker beyond this season, or even beyond the trade deadline. At the very least, now he’ll always have a pair of slides to commemorate his time playing alongside the Lakers’ No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 Draft.

And beyond receiving new footwear, it’s also notable that Clarkson again has access to his Instagram account that he recently was locked out of.
