Lakers vs. Thunder Watch Party at ESPN Zone L.A. Live Benefitting the Lakers Youth Foundation

The Los Angeles Lakers have hit a rough patch as of late with four losses in the last six games. Despite the recent struggles, the team is holding out hope for a drastic turnaround once two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash is healthy and ready to get back on the floor.

Even though Nash won’t make the three-game road trip against the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder, the Lakers have shown signs of coming together over the past few weeks and might be able to head into Oklahoma City this Friday and pull off an upset over one of the best teams in the West on their home floor at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

A win over the Thunder in Oklahoma City Thunder might be exactly what this team needs to get them back on track.

On Friday night, a watch party for this showdown between the Lakers and Thunder will be held at ESPN Zone at L.A. Live. The watch party will be hosted by Lakers legend Michael Cooper and Jay Flats. All proceeds will benefit the Lakers Youth Foundation with a silent auction being held for Lakers memorabilia as well as a raffle for prizes.
