Besides Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher is the other “main man” on the Lakers team.  He is the emotional leader for the Lakers and is not afraid to take the big shot.  Fisher has helped the Lakers in the post season by hitting game winners or key three pointers.  However, Derek Fisher is getting old and does not have a lot of gas left in his tank.  The Lakers signed Steve Blake in order to rest Fisher but still keep a capable point guard on the floor.  As the 2010-2011 season gets underway, don’t expect Derek Fisher to play over 30 minutes.
