The Los Angeles Lakers met up with the Phoenix Suns at STAPLES Center for a clash between two rising young Western Conference teams. The game would feature not only another battle between 2015 draftees D’Angelo Russell and Devin Booker, but also two of the youngest coaches in the league in Luke Walton and Earl Watson. After two big wins over the Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles was looking to make it three wins in a row and move a game above .500 on the season. There was some concern heading into the game that there would be a letdown coming off of an emotional win over the Warriors, making the Suns game a real test for a young team. Can Los Angeles win three in a row and improve on what has already been a fantastic start to the 2016-2017 NBA season?
