The Los Angeles Lakers didn’t put up much a fight in their 119-98 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night, their first game back at home since the All-Star break and the sweeping changes in the front office regime. Head coach Luke Walton was far from pleased with what looked like a lack of heart from the start of their 12:30 PM matinee.

For Walton, rookie Brandon Ingram was one of the few bright spots, finishing was a new career-high 22 points and 10 made field goals, one of which was a dunk in the face of former Laker, Pau Gasol. After the game, Ingram said he actually learned a few things from Kawhi Leonard tonight and it changed the way he attacked the game in the second half.

Julius Randle finished with six points (2-19) and 12 rebounds, admitting the Spurs simply outcompeted the Lakers. Randle discusses what they can learn as a team from the Spurs.

Tyler Ennis had his rookie debut on Sunday afternoon, finishing with five points, two assists and a steal in his eight minutes. Ennis chatted with the media after the game about what he hopes to bring to the Lakers and what it felt like to don the purple and gold for the first time.

Jordan Clarkson took on more of a facilitator role without Lou Williams in the second unit, finishing with 19 points (8-16), two assists and two rebounds. After the game he talks about his friendship with Ennis, which dates back to the 2014 pre-draft workout days.
