The NBA trade deadline is less than 24 hours away, and it seems as though the Los Angeles Lakers may be standing pat with the current roster.

Nick Young, Roy Hibbert, Lou Williams, and Brandon Bass have been rumored to be players that could be traded before Thursday’s deadline, but the Lakers brass either didn’t receive much interest in these veterans or didn’t get the return they were expecting in trade proposals.

On Wednesday, general manager Mitch Kupchak was asked about whether the team may make some moves before the trade deadline. According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, Kupchak says it is unlikely any changes will be made:

It isn’t beyond the realm of possibility that Kupchak could receive a call at some point between now and 12 PM PST on Thursday with an intriguing trade proposal. The Lakers don’t have the most attractive trade assets right now, but the veterans on the team that rumored to be available may interest title contenders.

As for the rest the NBA, no real blockbuster deals have come to fruition as of yet. Tobias Harris and Brandon Jennings changing teams was arguably the biggest deal to go through thus far and may ultimately be the only significant trade before Thursday’s deadline.
