17. Boston Celtics (18): The Celtics have won their last four games improving their overall record to 9-9.

16. Los Angeles Lakers (16): The Lakers improve to 12-9 overall despite inconsistent play. Although their same starting five won a championship two years ago, I’m afraid this time might be broken apart unless they find a way to be more dominant.

10. San Antonio (12): The Spurs improve to 12-8 overall and have won six of their last ten games. They are a tough team to beat at home but have shown inconsistency on the road.

9. Memphis Grizzlies (9): The Grizzlies may be a dark horse this NBA season. With a record of 10-9, I expect this ball club to step it up a notch once Zach Randolph comes back.

8. Dallas Mavericks (10): Even without Dirk in the lineup the Dallas Mavericks have managed to stay competitive. Their overall record is 12-8 and have won seven of their last ten games.

7. Utah Jazz (14): Can you say inconsistent? The Utah Jazz look great one week and just average the next. Their overall record is 11-7 and have won seven of their last ten games.

3. Miami Heat (3): The Miami Heat seem to be back running on all cylinders. The big three are back and LeBron James has elevated his game once again.

2. Chicago Bulls (1): The Chicago Bulls take a step back this week and take the number two spot. Although very successful this week, the Bulls suffered a tough loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday.

1. Oklahoma City Thunder (2): The Thunder have the best record in the NBA at 16-3 and have shown this past week they deserve the number one spot in the league. They have only lost one game the past ten games and have outstanding records both on the road and on their home court.
