PHOTOS: Lakers Fan Shows His Pride in Oklahoma City

Everywhere the Lakers play, there are always fans in Kobe uniforms. There are even instances when the home crowd turns against their team to cheer for the Lakers — who remembers the Boston Celtics crowd chanting “M-V-P, M-V-P” for Kobe? Some fans they got there in Boston.

There’s only one crowd in America that doesn’t like the Lakers and it’s Oklahoma City and even then, it didn’t stop a die-hard Lakers fan, Andre Mink from painting his car Purple and Gold (via Reddit):

While Mink currently roams the streets of Oklahama supporting “The Black Mamba,” it’s not the first time his car has made headlines in the city. In the 2012 playoffs, this Lakers fan car appeared when the Lakers played the Thunder and had the slogan, “It Don’t Thunder in LA”:

It’s truly amazing to see how many Lakers fans there are around the world. There’s absolutely no question that the Lakers have the best fans in the world.

While this upcoming season will likely be difficult, the Lakers organization has always found ways to climb back to the top of the mountain. The Lakers have blessed us with 17 championships and it’s time to really come together and support this team.
