Shannon Celebrates 25th Bday at Millions of Milkshakes

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to celebrate a belated 25th birthday with Lakers guard, Shannon Brown at Millions of Milkshakes in Culver City on behalf of Lakers Nation. A few weeks prior, Shannon posted on his Twitter page that he was taking suggestions for a nickname, which after weeks of input he decided on the winning name entitled the “Rim Reaper.” The nickname would also be coined as Shannon’s new milkshake that he personally created, which is now available at Millions of Milkshakes stores located in West Hollywood and Culver City.

What are the ingredients to a “Shannon Brown milkshake known for gravity defying dunks and highlight plays you ask…? The “Rim Reaper” milkshake consists of mixed berries, pineapple and most importantly a generous amount of protein, all topped off with whipped cream and  a cherry for good measure. Being able to indulge my taste buds into the treat myself, I’d say it was really good and one could hardly taste the protein since it was overpowered by berries embedded within.

Greeted by hundreds of screaming fans with his arrival, Shannon thanked the fans for coming out to celebrate with him as we sang “Happy Birthday” and watched as he blew out his candles. Following that, fans were able to take photos with the “Rim Reaper” a treat themselves to a slice of the Championship Ring cake.
