SNAPCHAT: Jordan Clarkson Gives Fan Money At Six Flags
Lakers News: Jordan Clarkson ‘confident’ He’ll Remain In Los Angeles

The off-season for the Los Angeles Lakers is already underway and the team has gotten off to a quick start by hiring Luke Walton as the new head coach. The team’s young core is also already hard at work looking to improve.

Both Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. have been working out at the Lakers practice facility. Julius Randle and D’Angelo Russell meanwhile, have been invited to the USA Select Team and will be practicing against the US Olympic Team this summer.

Despite working to improve his game, Clarkson is still taking time to enjoy his life and have some fun. He chronicled his trip to Six Flags on SnapChat where he promised a fan $5 if he found him, and ultimately came through when the fan did so (video courtesy of Harrison Faigen).

Clarkson will definitely have some money to spare soon as he is set for a hefty raise this off-season as a restricted free agent. The Lakers could sign Clarkson for as much as $88.9 million, though that is extremely unlikely.

Clarkson does fall under the ‘Arenas Rule’ provision meaning that if he were to sign an offer sheet with another team, the most it could be is $57.8 million for four years or $34.1 million for three.

In any instance, the Lakers hold all the advantages when it comes to retaining Clarkson this off-season. It is nice to see him interacting with fans during his free time, and they can rest assured that he is doing everything possible to come back next season even better than he has been in his first two years with the team.
