The Los Angeles Lakers went wire-to-wire Friday night against the Golden State Warriors, handing the reigning Western Conference champions a 117-97 drubbing. Stephen Curry’s NBA-record streak of games with at least one 3-pointer made was snapped at 157 games (196 when including the playoffs).

Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick now leads the NBA with most consecutive games with a 3-pointer with 61. What’s more, Curry’s streak of 116 straight regular-season road games with a minimum of one 3-pointer made, another an NBA record, was also snapped.

Curry finished the night 0-for-10 from behind the arc, and 5 of 17 overall. His 10 attempts without a make are the most misses in Curry’s career.

According to Greg Beacham of The Associated Press, Curry had lost track of his historic streak:

The Warriors were coming off an emotional victory against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and very much looked the part of a team on the second night of a back-to-back. Golden State managed to cut their deficit to six points late in the third quarter but never got any closer.

As a team they shot just 15.6 percent (5-for-32) from 3-point territory. Klay Thompson nearly equaled Curry’s poor output, connecting on just two of 10 attempts from deep. The Warriors’ loss was their second straight to the Lakers in the regular season.

They were upset at Staples Center, 112-95, in March. The loss snapped the Warriors’ seven-game winning streak.

As for Friday’s game, the Lakers improved to 2-0 at home behind a second consecutive victory. Julius Randle led the team with 20 points and 14 rebounds, D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young also scored in double figures, and the Lakers bench chipped in with 61 points.
