Still Clutch? NBA Players Vote Bryant Game’s Best Closer

A recent survey by Sports Illustrated asked 166 NBA players who they would want to take the last shot of a game, and 74% of them preferred Kobe Bryant. Bryant beat out NBA stars Kevin Durant (8 percent), Dwyane Wade (3 percent), Ray Allen and Dirk Nowitzki (2 percent each) for the honor.

Despite talks about Bryant slowing down and nearing the end of his career, he is still respected by his peers. Kobe is feared when the ball in his hands during late-game situations. He has been the NBA’s best closer for several years now and his teammates trust him to take the final shot.
