Time Warner Cable SportsNet will be premiering a special one hour ‘Access SportsNet: Lakers – Plays of the Year’ this Wednesday, May 22 at 8 pm PT highlighting the top 50 Laker plays from the 2012-2013 season.

Chris McGee, Andy Adler, Dave Miller and John Ireland will count down all of the top plays as chosen by the Time Warner Cable SportsNet production team. Lakers media and production team members are sure to include all of the top highlights from Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, Metta World Peace, and of course, The Mamba aka Vino himself, Kobe Bryant.

So if you want to relive Dwight Howard’s game-saving block against the Hornets, Pau Gasol’s driving dunk to clinch a Christmas Day victory against the Knicks, or Kobe’s classic performance against the Toronto Raptors make sure to tune in to Time Warner Cable SportsNet this Wednesday, May 22, at 8pm following a live episode of ‘Access SportsNet: Lakers.’

No word yet on if the debut of the Darius Morris-Andrew Goudelock starting backcourt will make the list, but a man can dream.

One-hour special counts down the top 50 plays of the 2012-13 Lakers season

EL SEGUNDO, CA (May 20, 2013) – A special one-hour “Access SportsNet: Lakers – Plays of the Year” will premiere on Wednesday, May 22 at 8:00 p.m. PT on Time Warner Cable SportsNet. Network hosts Chris McGee and Andy Adler, analyst Dave Miller and Lakers radio play-by-play announcer John Ireland will host the program counting down the top 50 plays of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 2012-13 season. The special will air following a live episode of “Access SportsNet: Lakers.”

The season’s top moments were selected by the Time Warner Cable SportsNet production team, with the top 10 voted on by Lakers media and production team members. All 50 plays will be revealed on Wednesday, and notable inclusions are:

·         Kobe Bryant’s epic late game performance against the Toronto Raptors

·         Pau Gasol’s submarine dunk to secure the Lakers’ Christmas day victory over the New York Knicks

·         Kobe Bryant’s dunk over Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace of the Brooklyn Nets

·         Dwight Howard’s game-saving block against the New Orleans Hornets

·         Kobe Bryant’s heroic free throws after rupturing his Achilles tendon against the Golden State Warriors
