Update: Kobe Bryant Participates in Lakers Practice

Lakers Nation reported earlier today that Kobe Bryant missed two Lakers practices due to foot soreness, but the Lakers superstar has found his way back to the court. Bryant missed out on two sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Kobe skipped the second practice due to further evaluation, but it seems as though the medical team did not find any abnormalities.

Mike Trudel of Lakers.com tweets that Bryant participated in the Lakers’ practice today despite his apparent sore right foot.

The Los Angeles Lakers will begin their 2012-13 pre-season on Sunday when they play the Golden State Warriors. It is not clear whether or not Kobe will play in that game, but there is a chance he sits out. Although Bryant is known for playing through injuries, the coaching staff may not want to risk further pain during a pre-season game.

The Lakers have title aspirations this season and an injury to one of their star players could hurt their chances. Last season Bryant injured his wrist during the pre-season and the Lakers don’t want any such thing to occur again.
