VIDEO: Jeremy Lin After Lakers Loss, ‘Everything Seemed Off’

Despite out-rebounding the Atlanta Hawks 54-34 and holding the Hawks to just one second chance point (an opponent season low), the Los Angeles Lakers came up short, 91-86 on Sunday night. The Lakers did manage to keep things interesting, cutting a 16-point deficit to just two points, with less than a minute to play, but ultimately, a slow start was too much for the Lakers to overcome.

Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin said something did not feel quite right on Sunday night.

It’s not like we weren’t trying to make the right plays. It just seemed off today, everything seemed off, that’s something we have to fight through,” Lin said after the game.

Lin finished with seven points to go along with four turnovers, three steals, three rebounds and zero assists, not comparable to the impressive numbers Lin had been putting up since the NBA All-Star break. The Lakers as a team, committed 22 turnovers, which the Hawks converted to 28 points.

The Hawks also sat Austin Daye, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague on Sunday night, which many Lakers players felt slighted by after the game. The Lakers face a tough opponent on the second night of a back-to-back, as they travel to Oakland to face the Golden State Warriors on Monday night.
