It has been a busy offseason for the Los Angeles Lakers and their young players, but that has not stopped them from competing in the Drew League. Nick Young is a lock to play in The Drew every offseason and he was joined by some of his younger teammates in Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle.

Clarkson and Randle both participated in different games in the Drew League and as is usual, highlights ensued. Neither of the Lakers young guys played in the Las Vegas Summer League as they are third year players, so the Drew League is an opportunity to showcase what they have been working on in the offseason.

Randle got a chance to see where he ranks among some of the best players in the NBA earlier this summer at the USA Select Team camp. Likewise Clarkson has been open about what he has been working on in order to take the next step in his career.

Young has been the subject of a lot of rumors this offseason with many assuming the Lakers will trade or release him at some point, but that has yet to happen so far this summer.

Training camp is about a month and a half away, so these Drew League highlights will have to hold you over until then via Gold Net Basketball’s Instagram and Youtube page:
