Video: Nick Young, Jordan Farmar Showing Off Their Athleticism

One major complaint about the Lakers over the last few years has been their lack of young, athletic guards and wing players. The Lakers have been consistently exploited by quick point guards and athletic wings the last few years and have often had to resort to having Kobe Bryant trying to chase around the likes of Tony Parker and Russell Westbrook.

The Lakers are trying to change that this season with the additions of Wesley Johnson, Jordan Farmar, and Nick Young. These guys will add an athletic dimension that we haven’t seen with the Lakers in years. Young and Farmar were at the Lakers practice facilities today and showed off their hops:

Yesterday we got to see Nick Young show off his shooting ability and now we get to see his jumping ability. He has the potential to make a huge difference for the Lakers this season as his talent is undeniable. Farmar has some impressive athleticism as well and when you have to play the likes of Westbrook, Parker, Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, and Mike Conley in the Western Conference, he will be a much needed asset.

Despite many thinking the Lakers will fall out of the playoffs this season, it is becoming more apparent that the talent level on this team has not fallen too far at all.
