VIDEO: Nick Young’s On A Raft…Who Would He Save, Kobe Or Pau?

One of the newest additions to the Lakers roster, Nick Young, hopped on the radio with Power 106 “Big Boy’s Neighborhood” on Friday morning. Young is no stranger to the show or the questions, as did an interview a couple seasons ago when he played for the Los Angeles Clippers.

In that interview, he was asked who he would save if he was on a raft and could save only person, either Chris Paul or Blake Griffin. Young responded with Blake Griffin and later joked that Chris Paul wouldn’t pass to him for weeks.

Well, now that he’s back in Los Angeles, Power 106 asked him that same question, except this time, he had to choose between Pau Gasol or Kobe Bryant.

Of course, Young says Kobe. He’s not about to go on a stretch where Kobe isn’t going to pass him the ball. To be fair, if Kobe and Pau were both in the water and you tried to save Gasol, knowing him, he’d probably refuse to be saved and demand you save Kobe instead — under the condition that you promise to visit the children in Syria and donate to UNICEF. He’s just that type of guy.
