It’s no secret that Dwight Howard’s free throw shooting has been downright atrocious. At .485 (48.5%), Dwight Howard rains in at exactly dead last in the free throw standings this season. He is actually the only qualifying player that has a free throw percentage less than 50%, which means he is currently the only player in the NBA that actually has a greater chance of bricking when at the charity stripe (insert Hack-A-Dwight strategy here).
The question among angry fans then becomes, “why isn’t Dwight practicing his free throws?” Well, since I am at Lakers practice every week, I thought I would share with you the slightly scary truth. Dwight Howard is practicing his free throws, and he’s making them. Don’t believe me?
