The Los Angeles Lakers have absolutely dominated so far in the Las Vegas Summer League, winning their first four games by a combined 70 points, including a 23-point win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

That clinched the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs, where four teams make it and have a chance to compete for the Las Vegas Summer League title. The semifinal matchups are set to take place on Saturday at Thomas & Mack Center, where the Lakers will take on the Golden State Warriors at 5:30 p.m. PT:

The other semifinal matchup with feature the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets with the winners advancing to the finals. Both of Saturday’s games will be televised on Amazon Prime.

After dropping their first game in the California Classic to the Warriors, the Lakers have bounced back in a big way with six straight victories. They have been clicking on all cylinders since getting to Las Vegas with all four of their wins being by double digits. Considering they lost to the Warriors already in blowout fashion, this will be a tough test for them in the rematch.

A number of Lakers players have popped this summer, most notably first-round draft pick Cameron Carr. The No. 24 overall pick out of Baylor has looked like the steal of the draft so far, showing off an impressive ability to score while improving defensively throughout the summer.

Three other players who were in the Lakers’ program last season has also shown their progress as Adou Thiero, Chris Mañon and Arthur Kaluma have been key during this undefeated run.

If the Lakers are able to take care of business in their semifinal matchup on Saturday then they will compete for the championship in their final game of the summer on Sunday. The last time the Lakers took home the Las Vegas Summer League title was in 2017 on a team led by Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Alex Caruso.

Cameron Carr wants Lakers to win Las Vegas Summer League championship

The Lakers have looked great so far in the Las Vegas Summer League, but Carr has bigger goals in mind as he wants to take home the championship.

“We get better every single game,” Carr recently said in his postgame interview on Prime. “We get more and more connected every single game. We’re here to win it. We’re not here to play around. We’re here to win it. That’s what we came to do. Job not done.”
