USA Basketball officially announced its 35-player roster for the 2018-20 Men’s National Team. Among those included in the star-studded group is injured Los Angeles Lakers point guard Isaiah Thomas.

Other players that made the cut are Harrison Barnes, Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Jimmy Butler, Mike Conley, DeMarcus Cousins, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Andre Drummond, Kevin Durant, Paul George, Eric Gordon, Draymond Green, Blake Griffin and James Harden.

Also included were Tobias Harris, Gordon Hayward, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, DeAndre Jordan, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Kevin Love, Kyle Lowry, C.J. McCollum, Khris Middleton, Victor Oladipo, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, Myles Turner, Kemba Walker, John Wall and Russell Westbrook.

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich will hold the same position for the USA Men’s National Team. For Thomas, it’s his first career selection to the roster.

The collection of All-Stars will participate in a minicamp this summer, where daily practices are set to take place at the UNLV Mendenhall Center from July 25-27.

It isn’t clear if Thomas will be limited in partaking in any basketball-related activities after undergoing hip surgery at the end of March. The estimated timetable for a full recovery is four months, which is right in line for the start of camp.

While no official competition is scheduled for 2018, the USA National Men’s Team will look to defend its FIBA World Cup championship in the ensuing year. The 2019 Qualifiers will be held from Aug. 31 through Sept. 15 in China.

Furthermore, the group will attempt to defend its Gold Medals at the 2020 Olympic Games, which will take place from July 24 through Aug. 9 in Tokyo, Japan. A total of 12 nations will compete in the Olympic men’s basketball competition.
