Los Angeles has always been home to the biggest and most well known stars. People flock to LA for its sunny, warm weather, and celebrity appeal. It comes as no surprise that Kobe would come out and praise the only city he has ever played for.

The Lakers are notorious for their All-Stars, ranging from Wilt to Kareem to Shaq. Big name players have always been known to find their way to the sunny skies of Los Angeles. These big names have helped the Lakers win 16 championships and one of the most successful franchises in the NBA.

With all the recent drama surrounding the Lakers upcoming free agency in 2014 and 2015, Kobe has talked about the possibility of star players, such as Carmelo Anthony coming to Los Angeles. Kobe added to the fire to the speculation according to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell:

Carmelo is just one of the big names that the Lakers can sign this summer. With Kobe having only a few years left to win his much coveted sixth ring, he had some choice words regarding players leaving teams to chase rings:

Kobe seems to be on board with the Lakers chasing players such as Carmelo in 2014 and Kevin Love in 2015. The Lakers may be having a down season, but with the possible addition of one or two All-Star caliber players, they will be back in contention in no time.
