The Los Angeles Lakers are holding a workout for the 2018 NBA Draft on Monday, during which they will welcome Udoka Azubuike (Kansas), Keita Bates-Diop (Ohio State), Rob Gray (Houston), Jalen Hudson (Florida), Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. (Baylor) and Caleb Martin (Nevada).

The Lakers previously held a pre-draft workout that was attended by Louisville teammates Deng Adel and Anas Mahmoud, among others. Adel led the Cardinals this season with 15 points per game.

Los Angeles holds the 25th (first round) and 47th (second round) overall picks in the 2018 Draft. They’ll look to continue with the success that’s been found with late selections in the Draft.

Of those scheduled to participate in Monday’s workout at the Lakers’ practice facility, Azubuike, Bates-Diop and Martin were also invited to the NBA Draft combine that’s being held May 16-20 in Chicago.

Azubuike averaged 13 points and seven rebounds per game in his second season at Kansas. The 7’0 center also blocked at least 1.6 shots per game in each of his two years.

Bates-Diop averaged 19.8 points and 8.7 rebounds in his fourth season with the Buckeyes. He shot 35.9 percent from behind the arc, his second-highest percentage.

After spending his first two collegiate years at NC State, Martin transferred to Nevada. He averaged 18.9 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Wolf Pack, and shot a career-best 40.3 percent from deep.
