As arguably one of the most popular video game franchises today, NBA 2K13 is as highly anticipated as ever with new features and new faces in new places.
The official trailer for NBA 2K13 has been released:
One of the most talked about features in the latest version from 2K Sports is the ability to play as the ’92 Dream Team. Although Scottie Pippen was reportedly left off arguably one of the most talented teams ever assembled, the six-time NBA champion has now been included.
Another perk of the latest addition to the 2K Sports franchise is Jay-Z’s involvement. As you can see and hear in the trailer, the music has been given a major upgrade that will almost certainly boost the entertainment value.
As for Los Angeles Lakers fans, trades no longer need to be made with all the rumors coming to an end. Now Lakers fans can play with Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol, Metta World Peace, Steve Nash and Dwight Howard right out of the gate without making a move or getting frustrated trying to make virtually impossible trades.
Along with Howard and Nash in the mix, the Lakers will have Jodie Meeks and Antawn Jamison off the bench for added firepower while the starters rest on the sidelines.
Needless to say, this game will be a must-have for Lakers fans with a roster at their disposal that should be extremely fun to play with during the upcoming NBA season.
Ratings for Nash and Kobe have already been released with the five-time NBA champion coming in at 93 and the two-time NBA MVP set at 87. Other big-name players around league have also received their ratings with Rajon Rondo (90), Carmelo Anthony (92), Kevin Durant (94), Chris Paul (94), Blake Griffin (86), Derrick Rose (92), Kevin Love (89), Andre Igoudala (87), Monte Ellis (86), Amar’e Stoudemire (84) and Andrew Bynum (87) as the highest rated current players thus far.
