The NBA All-Star Game appears to be heading back to the city of Los Angeles.

According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, the NBA will announce that the Staples Center will host the All-Star game for the third time in 2018:

The last time the Staples Center hosted the NBA All-Star Game was back in 2011. Superstar Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers put on a show in front of the hometown crowd earning All-Star Game MVP honors for the fourth time.

Last month, the NBA All-Star Game was held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto which was Bryant’s final All-Star appearance.

Next year, the festivities will take place at the home of the Charlotte Hornets at Time Warner Cable Arena before heading to the Staples Center in Los Angeles in 2018.
