For the last few years, the premier NBA show has been the NBA on TNT featuring Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal, and Ernie Johnson. With his honesty and knowledge of the game, many believe Kobe Bryant would make for an excellent analyst should he choose to do so.

There has been much speculation about what awaits Kobe post-retirement, but he has already gotten straight to work at the Kobe Inc. offices mere hours after his amazing 60 point finale that shocked even himself.

Should he choose to go the analyst route however, Kobe has a standing offer from Barkley to join their show via NBA on TNT.

While Kobe is certainly one of the most marketable figures in the world, its his magnetic personality and no-nonsense character that would make him a great fit with Chuck and the rest of the NBA on TNT crew. Furthermore, it would be great to see Kobe and Shaq re-united in their post-basketball lives considering all that they’ve been through.

No matter what he ultimately chooses, you can expect Kobe to take the same hard-working, relentless approach he’s displayed on the hardwood these last 20 years. It just wouldn’t be Kobe if he didn’t.
