The Los Angeles Lakers got the season off to an impressive start, picking up big wins against the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, and Phoenix Suns. The team that everyone expected to be near the bottom of the West has looked surprisingly competent.
They are still a young team that will have their ups and downs, as evidenced by their loss to an injury-depleted Dallas team, but they aren’t the easy out that most assumed they would be.
The Lakers looked to get back in the win column on the road against an old foe, the Sacramento Kings.
