Google’s new Arts and Culture app is sweeping through the internet, becoming the latest fad with its ability to take a user’s selfie and figure out which piece Smithsonian American Art they look most like.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the middle of a busy season, but given that their young players have time to go to the movies on the road while roasting each other on social media, it seems like only a matter of time before they get on the app as well.

Inspired by our sister site, Dodger Blue, Lakers Nation has decided to beat them to the punch and try to figure out which paintings the Lakers look most like.

The results included Kyle Kuzma and his uncanny resemblance to William IV, a Julius Randle-esque statue and Alex Caruso looking like an animal tamer.

Without further ado, here are all of the best results.

Given Lonzo Ball’s track record at knowing historical figures, it seems unlikely he knows who this composer is, and they definitely look a lot less alike now that Ball got a haircut.

Randle getting a statue is fitting given that he’s equally sturdy.

This is arguably the most perfect one, and I move that from here on out Alex Caruso’s nickname is “The Tamer” because all I want to do is picture him taming animals at a circus in a top hat.

The real-life Lakers will continue the regular season when they host the Indiana Pacers on Friday, but until then, we can all just use the app to keep plugging in random photos of the various members of the team and see which paintings pop up.

At this point in the season, it’s necessary to find unique ways to amuse oneself as the Lakers continue to languish in the standings.
