The Los Angeles Lakers started their defense of the Emirates NBA Cup Championship with a win and now look to remain undefeated at home this season as they face the Utah Jazz in the first of three games in a row at Crypto.Com Arena.
Tuesday’s game is the second for the Lakers in group play for the NBA Cup. The Lakers are in West Group B along with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Jazz and San Antonio Spurs.
Group play for the Emirates NBA Cup began on Nov. 12 and continues on Tuesdays and Fridays for five weeks.
Utah dropped their first game in group play and overall are on a two-game losing streak.
