Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Posts Picture With Pau Gasol On Instagram

Minutes after finding out that Dwight Howard was leaving for the Houston Rockets, Kobe Bryant sent a message to the rest of the NBA with an instagram picture of him and Pau Gasol.

With Howard out of the way, Gasol will be the Lakers primary player in the post as the Lakers will lean on Gasol even more without the seven-time All-Star in the post.

Gasol has been linked to several trade rumors in the past off-seasons, but it looks like Bryant is sending a message to the Lakers organization that they need to keep Pau.

The move will make Gasol even happier after he didn’t know if the Lakers would roll out the red carpet for him next summer. It’s clear from Bryant’s post, that he expects Gasol to be around for a while.

Update: Kobe un-followed Howard from Twitter after he announced his decision.
