Bernie Bickerstaff Receives 3 Projected ESPN Coach of the Year Votes

Remember Bernie Bickerstaff? He was that guy that coached the Lakers for the four games between Mike Brown and Mike D’Antoni. He led the Lakers to a remarkable 3-1 record during his time on the bench. And now, in what has become my favorite story of the day, Bernie has received three votes in ESPN’s Coach of the Year projection.

Yes, really.

bernieSee, I wasn’t joking!

Anyways, Bickerstaff isn’t going to win Coach of the Year, and probably won’t get any actual votes when the serious polling takes place. But for now, this is a fantastically amusing story that most Laker fans will appreciate.
