Carlos Boozer On Roy Hibbert: ‘We All Know He’s Not A Tough Guy’

After trailing by 13 in the second half, Kobe Bryant hit a game-winner as the Los Angeles Lakers came from behind to defeat the Indiana Pacers, 88-87 at Staples Center. However, during the fourth quarter, Carlos Boozer pushed Roy Hibbert to the floor and both players had to be separated.

Following the win, Boozer talked about his skirmish with Hibbert according to ESPN Los Angeles’ Beto Duran:

After reviewing the play, the refs called a technical foul on Hibbert while Boozer was assessed a Flagrant-1 foul. While Hibbert blocked Boozer on a key possession down the stretch, the Lakers power forward had another solid performance off the bench. Finishing with 12 points and four rebounds, Boozer was one of the main reasons why the team was able to get back into the game after trailing by double-digits.

With Wesley Johnson out after suffering a strained right hip flexor and Kobe Bryant resting against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday, the Lakers will need to continue moving the ball as they look to win back-to-back games.
