Derrick Caracter Assigned to D-League’s ‘Jam’

Rookie forward Derrick Caracter has almost completed his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the former UTEP player will be making an appearance in the NBA Developmental League after being reassigned to the Bakersfield Jam.

The news came from the official Twitter account of the Lakers. Caracter has been averaging just 5.3 minutes per game, and should get a chance to earn more playing time in the D-League. Caracter is averaging just 2.0 ppg and 1.10 rebounds in his limited time on the court.
