Dwight Howard: From Rookie Season to NBA Stardom

Dwight Howard is finally a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and the months of trade speculation can finally come to an end. Howard is the best center in the NBA, and the Lakers have the best starting five in the league. Los Angeles is talented in every position and it will be very difficult for opponents to give this All-Star studded squad a tough game.

Howard was drafted first overall in the 2004 NBA Draft and was given the torch by the Orlando Magic. The franchise expected great things from Howard and he delivered.

Now as a member of the Lakers, Howard could be destined to win an NBA championship. He is teaming up with Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol and Steve Nash, a fantastic four expected to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
