Buss was asked about Kobe Bryant’s status coming off an injury, and had some surprising things to say about when he believes Kobe will be back on the court.

“I would bet a lot of money on him coming back in preseason. He’s going to come back when he is right. I see him coming back at the beginning of this season.”

Well, that would be something.

Kobe recently stated that he was hoping to be back by November or December, but then reportedly told Chris Douglas-Roberts that he was three months ahead of schedule.

So when will Kobe actually be back? We’ll just have to wait and find out.
