Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Named Western Conference Player of the Week

Despite an injured wrist, Kobe Bryant had himself a strong week of basketball. Now, according to Mike Trudell, Bryant has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week for his efforts.

Bryant capped off his impressive week on Sunday night with a nice dunk against the Memphis Grizzlies.

This is the 27th time Bryant has won the award, and the first since Mar. 27, 2011.
