On Thursday the Lakers had their last practice before heading to Denver for Game 3 of their first round series. At practice we were able to catch up with Kobe Bryant, who talked about recovering from injury and preparing himself for the playoffs.
Bryant also mentioned the difference in elevation that the team faces while playing in Denver, but said he has no specific plans for how to adapt to it.
Later on Bryant mentioned the importance of Andrew Bynum to the team’s success. When asked what the team needs from Bynum in Game 3, Kobe stated that it depended on what the flow of the game dictated. Bryant said that Bynum simply needs to take what the game gives him.
Bryant and the Lakers will be back in action for Game 3 on Friday night at the Pepsi Center.
