Portland Trail Blazers v Los Angeles Lakers

As for the Los Angeles Lakers as a whole, they sold the fourth most merchandise despite their disappointing season. The Lakers are the most popular team in the NBA and that is evident in the fans coming out and supporting their team. The Chicago Bulls came on top of merchandise sales, with the Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors rounding out the top three.

Top Ten Jersey Sales: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, Tim Duncan, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and Blake Griffin

Top Five Team Merchandise Sales: Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder

The Lakers will play their final game of the season tonight, against the Sacramento Kings, ending a miserable 2014-15 campaign. This season has been a tough one for fans to watch and the Staples Center crowd will see their Lakers one last time tonight at 7:30 PM PST.

It is still very commendable that the Lakers are in the top five in merchandise sales and that their star player is consistently one of the most popular figures in the league. Even though the Lakers are a struggling franchise right now, it has a history of winning and will certainly be back fighting for championships soon.
