Kobe Surpasses Shaquille O’Neal on Playoff Scoring List

Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal have developed a rivalry over the years, and the players’ statistics are often compared to see who has had a better career. Bryant currently has five NBA championships whereas O’Neal has four, and Kobe just surpassed his foe in All-Time Playoff scoring list.

Coming into tonight’s game, Bryant needed only two points to tie O’Neal for third on the scoring list (5,248 points). After his bucket in the second quarter of Game 3 versus the Mavericks, Bryant took sole possession of the ranking.
