Lakers Highlights: Julius Randle Dominates, Jordan Clarkson And Alex Caruso Provide Spark Off Bench To Key Win Over Knicks

The Los Angeles Lakers are streaking once again, winning their second game in a row after Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson and Alex Caruso continued their run as the most unlikely Big Three in franchise history.

Randle and Brook Lopez led the way for the Lakers from the jump, combining for the team’s first 15 points of the game. Lopez went on to score 14 points total and knock down four of his six 3-point attempts.

Meanwhile, Randle pumped out his second-straight big scoring effort, dropping 27 points on 11-for-17 shooting. He also stuffed the box score with 12 rebounds and five assists.

Clarkson led the team in scoring for the second game in a row, pouring in 29 points to go with 10 assists and six rebounds. Clarkson continued to be a whirling dervish of activity for the second time in a three-day stretch, and is now averaging 31 points, 8.5 assists, 6.5 rebounds since he revealed he was locked out of his Instagram account.

Similarly, Caruso continued the roll he started Friday, pushing the pace and pushing stopgap starter Tyler Ennis (zero points on 0-for-2 shooting in 11 minutes) out of the rotation in the second half.

Caruso finished with nine points and eight assists in 31 minutes off the bench; all of which were career highs. He added four rebounds and two steals.

Giving the Lakers help on the margins was Larry Nance Jr., who rumbled his way to 13 points on on 5-of-9 shooting to go with five rebounds. Kyle Kuzma broke out of his inefficient slump of late to score 15 points on 6-for-8 shooting off the bench.

Corey Brewer also gave the Lakers a spark as a reserve, scoring seven points while making half of his six shot attempts in 23 minutes, while jumping passing lanes and swarming all over the floor to deflect loose balls and snatch two steals to help fuel the defense and transition attack.
