Lakers Nation Week in Review: January 18 – January 25

NBA: Preseason-Sacramento Kings at Los Angeles LakersThe Los Angeles Lakers are in the midst of their road trip and their recent games have been somewhat pleasing. Although the team is still falling in the Western Conference standings, there has been some signs of improvement.

Fans are desperately waiting for a healthy roster and this past week has given us more information as to when the stars will be back on the court again. It was a busy seven days for the Lakers and here is a look back at the week.

Lakers Nation News: 

Xavier Henry will be out for another 10-14 days. 

Kobe Bryant talked about his MVP ballot.

Ryan Kelly chimed in on his rookie season. 

Pau Gasol is not sure he will be able to play in the 2016 Olympics.

Bryant was named an All-Star starter but will not play.

D’Antoni is hoping Steve Nash can return this Tuesday.

The Grizzlies are not interested in acquiring Marc Gasol. 

Kobe Bryant is unlikely to play in the 2016 Olympics.

Phil Jackson said he will not coach again. 

The Lakers are still one of the most valuable teams in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant made it on the cover of ESPN the Magazine. 

Jordan Farmar will likely return mid-February.
