The Los Angeles Lakers have finally found a new head coach and the fans are actually pleased with this hiring. Mike Brown and Mike D’Antoni weren’t the names fans wanted to hear when the two were brought onto the team, but there is a different vibe with Byron Scott.

Scott won three titles with the Lakers and is a respected sports figure in Los Angeles and the rest of the NBA. The roster is also beginning to fill itself out and here is a look back at yet another busy week at Lakers Nation.

The Lakers have named Byron Scott their new head coach. 

Dwyane Wade calls Kobe Bryant the second greatest player of all time.

Los Angeles officially announced the addition of Carlos Boozer. 

George Karl did receive consideration for the Lakers coaching job.

Carmelo Anthony said his decision was always between the Knicks and Bulls. 

Bryant will base Kobe Inc. in Newport Beach.

Jeremy Line does not want to recreate “Linsanity” in Los Angeles. 

The Lakers also brought on Ed Davis during the week.

Paul George talks about playing for the Lakers. 

Jamal Crawford had high praise for Kobe Bryant.
