Lakers News And Rumors Recap: Steve Nash Expected To Play Tuesday
[new_royalslider id=”135″]

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash gave fans a scare on Sunday when he left the game with approximately five minutes remaining in the third quarter after he was inadvertently hit in the same location of the 2012 fracture in his leg.  Sunday’s collision caused a nerve irritation in Nash’s leg, which he said after the game believed would subside in time for Tuesday’s game.

While he didn’t participate in the full practice on Monday, Nash did do some shooting and go through rehab, per Lakers Nation’s Serena Winters.  The recently turned 40-year-old expects to be in the lineup on Tuesday when the Lakers face the Utah Jazz and looking further down the line, isn’t currently interested in retiring.

Monday also provided some clarity on Xavier Henry, who has missed the previous 20 games with a knee injury. Henry was able to do some work on the sideline and Lakers’ coach Mike D’Antoni believes the fourth-year player may return after the All-Star break.
