Lakers News: Kobe Bryant Is Enjoying Nike Tour In China

This off-season has been one huge roller coaster ride for Kobe Bryant. With the major roster upheaval on the Lakers and Bryant dealing with his recovery from a ruptured Achilles, he has had to deal with a lot.

Kobe, however, seems to be enjoying this off-season. His rehab is apparently ahead of schedule and Bryant is currently with Nike in China, where he already has a massive following, enjoying some sights and entertaining his fans.

Look at the crowd that gathers just to witness Bryant. While LeBron James may have surpassed Bryant in terms of popularity here in America, there is no doubt that Bryant’s brand across the globe shatters probably any athlete in North America.

Kobe is beloved in China more than any athlete not named Yao Ming, and this photo is just proof of that. While in China, Bryant also took the time to take in some sights, including the Terracotta Army (see below photo via @KobeBryant Instagram).

Kobe is a global icon and if nothing else, seeing Kobe in China without a crutch in sight has to give Laker fans a good feeling.
