According to Mike Trudell of Lakers.com, Kobe Bryant will not play in tonight’s game versus the Sacramento Kings. Bryant was considered a game-time decision until he ultimately decided that his ankle was too sore to play on about an hour before the game.

After a controversial landing on Dahntay Jone’s ankle, Kobe was diagnosed with a severely sprained ankle immediately following last Wednesdays game against the Atlanta Hawks.
